Case study · Treebo Guest Connect

Reimagining the post-booking experience for one of India’s largest hotel chains.

Guest Connect is a mobile-first self-service platform for everything a guest needs after booking — digital check-in, stay changes, payments, upgrades, invoices, and food ordering — integrated deeply with enterprise reservation and hotel systems.

The challenge

After booking, everything ran through the front desk.

The guest journey was fragmented across multiple systems. Every routine request depended on hotel staff — and each one had to keep inventory, pricing, and billing consistent across several backend systems at once.

What guests needed staff for

  • Web check-in
  • Adding or removing guests
  • Early check-in / late check-out
  • Room upgrades
  • Booking modifications
  • Invoices & payments
  • Food ordering
  • Service requests

What we built

One platform for the whole stay.

Digital web check-in

Identity verification, document upload, OCR, PDF generation, and guest verification workflows — built end-to-end by BLG.

Stay management

Change dates, add or remove guests, view booking summaries, download invoices with room-level bill break-up.

Early check-in & late check-out

Live inventory validation, dynamic pricing, time-slot selection, and CRS synchronisation.

Payments & billing

Payment posting, guest folio, charges, proforma and final invoices — billing a guest can actually read.

Room upgrade engine

Eligibility, prioritisation, inventory validation, pricing parity, and complimentary upgrades.

Food & beverage

Multi-tenant POS integrations for restaurant ordering, menus, pricing, and service requests across properties.

How we worked

One team, two logos.

BLG built the platform foundation and the web check-in module end-to-end. From there, BLG and Treebo engineers delivered as one team — same standups, same repositories, same releases — shipping the experience guests use today.

The pod began in August 2025 at seven people for the build phase, then tapered to three for steady-state delivery. Scaling down is part of the model — proof the engagement creates capability, not dependency.
